March 2022 Central Java Experiences Inflation of 0.75 percent, the highest inflation in Cilacap City is 1.19 percent

Abstract

In March 2022, Central Java experienced inflation of 0.75 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.58. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, all cities experienced inflation.
The main cause of inflation in Central Java in March 2022 was the increase in the price of chicken eggs, red chilies, air transportation, cooking oil, and gold jewelry. The main driver of inflation in Central Java is the decline in the prices of cars, broiler meat, rice, tomatoes and squid.
