Abstract

The Poverty Line in March 2023 was recorded at IDR 477,580/capita/month with a composition of the Food Poverty Line of IDR 360,571/capita/month (75.50 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of IDR 117,009/capita/month (24.50 percent).
The percentage of poor people in March 2023 was 10.77 percent, a decrease of 0.21 percentage points compared to September 2022. When compared to March 2022, poverty fell by 0.16 percentage points.
In March 2023, on average, poor households in Central Java Province had 4.28 household members. Thus, it is estimated that the poverty line per poor household is IDR 2,044,042/poor household/month
