Abstract

In March 2020, the number of poor people (population with per capita expenditure per month below the Poverty Line) in Jawa Tengah reached 3.98 million people (11.41 percent), an increase of 301.5 thousand compared to the poor population in September 2019 totaling 3.68 million people (10.58 percent)

Percentage of Population Poor September 2019 fell to 10.58 percent

The percentage of poor people in September 2022 rose 0.05 percentage points to 10.98 percent compared to March 2022 which was 10.93 percent

March 2019: Gini ratio of 0.361, slightly increased compared to September 2018 which amounted to 0.357

The percentage of poor people in March 2023 fell 0.21 percentage point, to 10.77 percent compared to September 2022 which was 10.98 percent.
