Abstract

The percentage of poor people in urban areas increased to 10.57 percent in September 2020 from 10.09 percent in March 2020. The percentage of poor people in rural areas also increased from 12.80 percent in March 2020 to 13.20 percent in September 2020.

Percentage of Population Poor in March 2020 rose to 11.41 percent, compared to September 2019 which amounted to 10.58 percent

March 2019: Gini ratio of 0.361, slightly increased compared to September 2018 which amounted to 0.357

The March 2020 Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.362, up from September 2019 which amounted to 0.358

The percentage of poor people in March 2023 fell 0.21 percentage point, to 10.77 percent compared to September 2022 which was 10.98 percent.

The percentage of poor people in September 2022 rose 0.05 percentage points to 10.98 percent compared to March 2022 which was 10.93 percent
