Abstract

• January 2019 in Jawa Tengah there was inflation of 0.26 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 133.32 Inflation in Jawa Tengah occurred in all (six) cities of SBH.
• The calendar year inflation rate (January 2019 to December 2018) is 0.26 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate of Y / Y (January 2019 to January 2018) is 2.18 percent too.
• The main cause of January 2019 Jawa Tengah inflation was the increase in prices of shallots, garlic, air transportation, wages of domestic helpers and watermelons. Retaining the inflation rate is the decline in gasoline prices, train fares, chicken eggs, long beans and bark
