Abstract

Total labor force in Jawa Tengah in August 2016 which amounted to 17.31 million people, decreased approximately 602 thousand people compared to the state in February 2016 and increased 14 thousand people compared to August 2015.
The working population in Jawa Tengah in August 2016 amounted to 16.51 million people, an increase of about 76 thousand people compared to the state in Agustus 2015 and decreased amounted to 651 thousand people compared to February 2016.
The open unemployment rate reached 4.63 percent, decreased of about 0.36 percent compared to the state in August 2015(4.99 percent) increased amounted to 0.43 percent compared to February 2016 (4.20 percent)
