Abstract

Total labor force in Jawa Tengah in August 2017 amounted to 18.01 million people. The working population in Jawa Tengah in August 2017 amounted to 17.19 million people.
The open unemployment rate reached 4.57 percent.
In August 2017, 60.29 percent of the population worked on informal activities, and the percentage of informal workers fell 1.88 percentage points compared to August 2016.
