Abstract

  • The May 2023 Central Java Farmers Exchange Rate was 108.84, up 1.05 percent compared to the previous month's NTP of 107.71. The increase in FTT was caused by the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) by 1.60 percent, which was faster than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.55 percent.
  • The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Central Java in May 2023 was recorded at 110.41, an increase of 1.36 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP of 108.93.
  • Prices for dry milled unhusked rice (GKG) at the farm level increased by 1.95 percent and harvested dry unhusked rice (GKP) fell -5.97 percent; GKG prices at the mill level rose 1.84 percent and GKP rose 0.32 percent
