Abstract

  • The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) in Jawa Tengah 2018 reached 72.17 on a scale of 0 to 100. This number has increased compared to the IDI 2017 figure of 70.85. The achievements of Jawa Tengah 's democratic performance are still in the "moderate" category. The classification of the level of democracy is grouped into three categories namely "good" (index> 80), "moderate" (index 60 - 80), and "bad" (index <60).
  • Changes in the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) figures from 2017-2018 were influenced by three aspects of democracy namely (1) Civil Liberties which rose 7.14 points (from 69.07 to 76.21), (2) Political Rights fell 0.32 points (from 67.24 to 66.92), and (3) Democratic Institutions down 3.40 points (from 78.82 to 75.42)
