Jawa Tengah Economic Quarter III grew 5.25 percent

• The economy of Jawa Tengah based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of current prices in quarter III-2018 reached Rp 331,955.17 billion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 241,319.58 billion.

• Jawa tengah quarter III-2018 economy grew 5.25 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, growth was driven by all business fields, with the highest growth being achieved in the Information and Communication Business Field which grew 11.56 percent. In terms of expenditure, all components encourage growth, except for imports of goods and services which grew by 16.28 percent.

• The economic structure of Jawa Tengah in the third quarter of 2018 in terms of production is still dominated by the Processing Industry Business Field with a contribution of 33.90 percent, while from the expenditure side it is dominated by Components of Household Consumption Expenditures with a contribution of 59.35 percent.
