Abstract

1. Central Java Unemployment Rate (TPT) of 4.23 percent.
2. The population working on informal activities is 60.01 percent, and the percentage of informal workers increases by 1.14 percentage points compared to August 2017.
3. Period February 2017-February 2018, 3 (three) biggest categories that experienced an increase in employment categories of Provision of Accommodations and Eating Drink (0.83 percentage points), Ketegori Large Trade and Retail (0.34 percentage points); Car Repair and Maintenance (0.34 percentage points), Other Services Category (0.33 percentage points)
4. There are 25.22 percent of the working population is not full (hours less than 35 hours a week) includes 6.38 percent half of the unemployed and 18.84 percent of part-time workers
5. Population working in Central Java February 2018 is still dominated by those with low education (junior high school) of 69.18 percen
