Abstract

  • December 2017 in Jawa Tengah there was inflation of 0.71 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 129.34. Inflation in Jawa Tengah occurred in all (six) cities of SBH.
  • The calendar year inflation rate (January-December) 2017 and the year-on-year inflation rate (December 2017 to December 2016) amounted to 3.71 percent.
  • The main cause of Jawa Tengah inflation in December 2017 is the increase of eggs of chicken, rice, red chili, chicken meat and cayenne pepper. While holding back the inflation rate is the decline of the price of shallots, mobile phone pulse rate, papaya, garlic and sugar.
