Abstract

Fixed figures rice production in Jawa Tengah province in 2014 reached 9.65 million tons of milled rice (paddy). This figure is lower by 6.73 percent when compared with Fixed figures in 2013 which amounted to 10,35 million tons. Decreasing rice production is influenced by the decrease in rice crop harvested area of 44.54 thousand hectares. First forecast 2015, rice production in Jawa Tengah province reached 10.60 million tons of milled rice (paddy) or 9.89 percent higher than 2014.
