The General Lecture of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Perwira Purbalingga University

On Thursday, July 11th, Slamet Romelan, S.ST, M.Si, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Purbalingga Regency, was appointed as a speaker for a General Lecture at Perwira Purbalingga University (UNPERBA). The lecture was conducted as part of the Statistical Literacy for Research in Higher Education initiative. The event took place at the Auditorium of Perwira Purbalingga University.

Also present at the event were Dr. Suprapto, M.S., Vice Rector of Perwira Purbalingga University; Dr. Kamson, SH, MM, M.Pd., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Perwira Purbalingga University; Anastasia Anggarkusuma Arofah, S.Pd, M.Pd, Coordinator of the Accounting Program and Chair of the Lecture Committee; Herry Purwanto, S.ST, M.Si, Chair of the Statistical Literacy Team at BPS Purbalingga Regency; BPS Purbalingga Regency officials; and all lecturers and educational staff of Perwira Purbalingga University.

During his address, Dr. Kamson, SH, MM, M.Pd emphasized, "Statistics are crucial for higher education in terms of research, enhancing the capacity and knowledge of both students and lecturers in the present era." Meanwhile, in the General Lecture session for students and lecturers, Slamet Romelan, S.ST, M.Si shared, "Statistics can be enjoyable depending on how we perceive it. Let us consider statistics as one of the solutions to solving problems."
